Inevitable Glitch is a project that uses the concept of digitally corrupted files to reflect the cerebral damage, identified by many psychologists, of the continual use of smart phones and social media.

The addictive and compulsive use of smart phones is damaging our mental health drastically, with reported effects for frequent (ab)users being: a decreased attention span, a diminished short term memory, an increase in fatigue and a feeling of loss when being separated from the digital network. These issues can also be enhanced by an additional alienation: a physical isolation from those close to us.

These issues compounded with the potential social media has to exacerbate negative feelings are compelling motivational clues to the suicide epidemic the world is currently experiencing, especially in young males.
